The concept document that is being pushed by the institutional Management of Walter Sisulu University, targeting both the Queenstown and Ibika Campuses is both shortsighted and counterproductive. The notion that we ought to have University towns stands a great risk of not materializing should this sacrilegious proposition be left unchallenged. This will not only have a negative impact on both towns economically but also on the social fabric of both the above mentioned towns.
