Recently, we lost multiple amazing souls in the Montgomery County community to suicide. Yet, neither Walter Johnson, nor MCPS as a whole, have addressed this issue with the community. Numerous people were affected by this loss, both directly and indirectly, and there is a serious threat of these suicides leading to a contagion effect. Needless to say, this should only reinforce the fact that suicide and mental illness are growing problems in our community. If you feel that Walter Johnson, and Montgomery County as a whole, should address these issues to a greater point, please sign this petition.
