Our local Disney store has an extremely large fan base and has been around for 20+ years. The Disney Store currently has 4 locations in San Diego county: Fashion Valley, Plaza Bonita,  Parkway Plaza and Westfield Carlsbad. Since the Westfield Carlsbad mall is undergoing extreme construction they are scheduled to close beginning 2016.

In result of this our North County Disney store at Westfield Carlsbad will not reopen and the friendly, awesome, caring staff will most likely not be transferred to the new outlet store.

I visited the Carlsbad outlets and I was told a new Disney outlet store is gonna open in November. Now an outlet store has no Magic at all, no decorations, no friendly staff, NOTHING!! I've been to the Disney outlet store in Las Americas San Ysidro and I will never visit that store again! I prefer to buy merchandise full price. This will also cause no actual important releases and merchandise a regular or IP Disney store receives for guests and collectors to purchase. An outlet store has no privileges on regular merchandise, release, etc. This issue would be easily resolved if the Disney company and corporate would make the right decision and lease a space at the Westfield Escondido Mall. Westfield Escondido has been remodeled, has open spaces and all the Westfield Carlsbad and San Diego fan base will follow. I care about this issue because I'm a regular at this store and the staff goes above and beyond for their guests. I don't want to see the staff go and our beautiful Disney store. I'm also a collector and I cannot drive all the way to San Diego for merchandise I want to purchase.
