At the end of Toy Story 3, all the toys are in the incinerator until the aliens save them using the claw. This was a mistake. As you may know, Toy Story 4 was the sequel to TS3, and many people disliked it. The toys' actions had barely any real cause that drove them to do what they do, and Bonnie is a pretty bad character in my, and many other people's, opinions. If Toy Story 3 ended with the aliens not using the claw, and instead the toys died in the incinerator, the horror that is TS4 would have never happened. Many haters of my cause argue that this would be traumatizing to kids, but that is exactly what Toy Story 4 did. Toy Story 3 also had a satisfying ending with Andy leaving for college and the toys now belonging to Bonnie, but the forth movie showed that Bonnie didn't care for any of the toys and never noticed when one of them went missing, and instead focused on simping for a spork.
