I want to encourage Disney to create a "throwback" channel. This channel would include Disney original movies and TV shows from the 90s and early 2000s. For example: The Proud Family, The Replacements, Life With Derek, Pixel Perfect, Smart House and Sky High. I feel that the Disney's television programs from the early 2000s were easily relatable and had an uplifting message towards adolescence. Todays generation is influenced by social media and television programs that are solely made for entertainment and do not teach morals and ethics. Not to mention that Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network have their own stations in which they air the older programs. Todays young adults and teens would love to see their favorite childhood shows which would help gain millions of viewers.
