- Walt Disney Co. should immediately suspend the agency contract with Mickeynet, LLC., a travel agency located in Orlando, FL that offers travel arrangement services for Japanese tourists who visit Disney parks in the United States.
- The main reason for this petition is the company's inappropriate way of conducting business. For the purpose of promoting its business, Mickeynet offered an all-expenses-paid coverage tour to Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line to a YouTuber named himself "Disney Ume-channel", who has been infamous among Japanese Disney fans for his improper behavior and remarks in Disney parks in Tokyo, including what could be seen as offences against women. It has been widely known that he left many such remarks on his Twitter account.
- Most recently, he is under suspicion of inappropriate behavior against women at a cosplay event on May 4, 2022, where he worked as an official photographer. Although the host's statement for apology does not identify a specific photographer, he admitted that he is to blame after the reports from the event participants suggested it. His tweet as of May 6 indicates that his qualification as an official photographer of the event is suspended until further notice.
- While many Japanese Disney fans do not see him as qualified to be billboards for Disney resort tourism, Mickeynet has not yet taken any proper actions to review its plan to invite him. Our biggest concern is that the Mickeynet's plan to send an inappropriate person to the parks and cruise ship significantly hurts reputations of Japanese Disney fans as well as of Walt Disney Company.
