I want to start this petition to continue the series Best Friends Whenever. I feel this change is necessary for multiple reasons. First of all, the changing relationships. The most significant, Cyd and Naldo. At homecoming, they realized they liked each other and just started their new relationship. We got to see one episode of this and it was over (technically two episodes but it was a part one and part two). I wanted to see them start dating and see what happened next in their relationship, but I was brutally awakened to find out it was the last episode of the series. Another relationship that was changing was Barry and Daisy. This relationship would be hard to continue since they live 500 years apart, but if Barry could also figure out how to time travel, he could see her whenever he wanted. Even if they don't continue the relationship, they could end it, and have Barry find someone new.

The continuation of Best Friends Whenever is important for another reason. The girls, Cyd and Shelby, had just figured out that their powers are bigger than them, therefore causing things in history that needed to be changed or saved, to be brought to them. We saw one season of this before they figured out that was the reason the time rift opened, and that was when they saved princess Daisy. They could continue the series by each new season being a new problem they need to fix, while having a few episodes of them just doing the things they regularly do, like in season two.

This change will impact many people, especially in a time like now. While there is a pandemic, many people are trying to find new shows to watch, and since Disney Plus is new, many people are using that. It also acts as a light at the end of the tunnel. When we get through this dark time, many new exciting things will happen after, hopefully including this.

Some people will argue that the show was cancelled for a reason so we need to respect that. The reason the show was cancelled though, was because the ratings were declining. If the show was brought back, I am sure ratings would go back up. If Disney Channel or Disney Plus would advertise them bringing back Best Friends Whenever on social media and on TV, it would get people excited about it and I think, would help bring ratings back up so they won't have to unexpectedly cancel the show again without having an official final episode. I think that many people would be excited about this, including me. 

This is important to me, and I know, would benefit others. It is important to me because I found a TV show I enjoyed, and was left on somewhat of a cliffhanger to find out it was over. Cyd even said herself in the show that she needs to watch at least three seasons of a TV show before she knows if she likes it or not, and the TV show she was in, ironically only has two seasons. This show brought me and my siblings together by giving us something to do we all enjoyed and could do the same for other families, or even give someone something to do by ones self.

I understand that they cannot make new episodes right now because of the pandemic, but if they announced that they would continue Best Friends Whenever when the pandemic was over, it would give many people something to look forward to when this is all over. Even if nothing happens, it would be nice to see the amount of people who care. The continuation of Best Friends Whenever would bring much joy to many, including me.
