Work together to protect environment with recycling. Walmart currently advertises how many plastic bottles were recycled to make vests. Petition Walmart to work with local group at each location to place plastic recycle collection at each store. These could be picked up by their delivery trucks and transported to a major plastic recycler as they return to Walmart distribution centers to get another load for local stores. If needed, distribution centers could consolidate plastic from individual stores to full semis for economical transportation. Most Americans live within 4.2 miles of a Walmart and this would make recycling plastic much more accessible. If Walmart partners with local volunteers it would help keep recycling containers clean and not a nuisance. Walmart would have some expense with transportation but this would be good for local community and the world. It also would be good public relations and store traffic for Walmart. This is a win -win for all. Help change plastic from garbage to recycled products.
