Willenhall's branch of Boots has served our community for decades, but now the owners are selling off the store. Boots is the heart of our community and a trusted name, until now. Turning their back on the town and selling out its staff in an immoral way, as whomever buys the shop, also purchases the saff and have no obligation to keep them employed. This Branch of Boots won an award in 2017 for being the best sore, an award well deserved by the staff for serving us. Boots, a respected name no longer care about community (the people that keep them in business) or its staff, but are happy to spend £1000s on TV adverts, money that should be invested in its stores. I understand the need for restructure, but by destroying communities and treating employees as worthless numbers is discusting. Ignoring 'Mr & Mrs Bloggs' is the wrong way about it, for people like myself that depend so much on this store for my medication and can't travel to Walsall or Wolverhampton is really heartbreaking. The staff are first rate, other stores lack the professionalism, care and respect that a Boots stores have. This a disgrace to the legacy that the late John Boot created over 170 years ago, tarnishing the Boots name.
