Due to the ongoing fire at a local fertilizer plant, the Winston-Salem fire chief has expressed that the evacuation be extended. Many students live within the 1 mile radius. Furthermore, there is still a risk for an explosion that the chief has expressed could cause damage to Wake Forest campus. Many students have already left the city for the weekend. It is both irresponsible and unacceptable for the Wake Forest administration to resume classes.
