Wake Forest: Join or Support MIT’s Lawsuit and Support International Students

The Issue

Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) recently announced their intention to deny international students visas if their universities do not offer in-person classes.

Wake Forest released a statement today saying they will “advocate” on behalf of their international students. However, President Hatch refused to indicate whether the university would join the lawsuit MIT, etc. filed against this cruel measure (or even whether they would join Carnegie Mellon’s amicus brief supporting that lawsuit).

If Pro Humanitate means anything to the administration of Wake Forest, they must take decisive legal action against this shameful rule. They must either join or support the lawsuit and use all legal channels available to them to show support for Wake’s wonderful international students.
