Let's get fans in the stands - Change spectator limit for Wake County football

The Issue

Wake County's football season is just around the corner and fans had been limited. We understand with coronavirus , things have been difficult. Although the pandemic, we believe it's still possible to have a somewhat normal season which will be a great impact on the seniors and players as this year has been hard enough, and the players and fans strongly look forward to the season. Fans are a vital role in the football games as their support is what keeps the energy & confidence high for players and cheerleaders. Their are also Photographers & Videographers who planned on attending games which is another huge factor in football. Most athletes have more than one family member that they'd like to attend, along with just fans/students in general that support our football teams, but with the limits they've been putting that wouldn't be possible unless we make this change! Groups of spectators can be spread out in an outdoor stadium by a safe distance while wearing masks. In North Carolina we allow dining outdoors for as many people as restaurants can hold with tables distanced and with people taking off their masks to eat, yet we are not allowing a gigantic stadium like Wake Forest High School to host more than 100 spectators in an outdoor space. We allow indoor retail and dining establishments to host guests based on a percentage of capacity rather than number limits. We're asking The Governor (Roy Cooper) or Wake County in general to please reconsider the spectator limits for the football games in the stadium as there's more logical limits that would make this a lot more enjoyable for the players & spectators. As there's others schools in the same area ( who just not happen to be under wake county and their rules) that are doing this. That being said this can be achieved safely and responsibly and in line with the current scientific recommendations.
