The recent sacking/ termination of AU Ambassador  to the USA Dr Arikana Chihombori Quao is immensely disturbing to all Africans. We totally disagree with chairperson's decision.

The AU, is founded on African principles and values of dialogue, and we believe there is no issue of concern that would not have been solved by utilising these methods.

We want to send a clear message to. Chairperson, H.E.t Moussa Faki that the current mood on the ground is "Africans are disappointed , Africans are furious. Africans feel sinisters forces are pulling strings over the continental body that should be independent and standing up for Africans.

This decision is humiliating, it insults and intimadates African women who have borne the brunt of marginalisation, and discrimination for decades and  makes AU and it's agendas, among them women emancipation and empowerment a derision. 

We maintain strongly that Ambassador Arikana was a necessary voice at the right place, speaking real issues and right things which those who may seem agitated by her forth rightness needs to hear loud and clear.

Your  excellency, Moussa Faki  if the Africans voices  matter to you, as stated and envisioned in the Agenda 2063, reverse this ill advised decision and reinstate Ambassador Ariana. Ignoring  the African  voices on  this matter, will erode their trust in the AU.
