With the latest news about a 3rd pandemic wave in Washington State, more and more of us will be relying on health, nutrition, transportation and other government-funded services to stay healthy, make ends meet, and get back on our feet.

Now is the time to invest in Washington's public health and keep people working by asking those at the very top and those who are making the biggest profits, to pay their share. 

We must:

1. Keep the heart of Washington pumping by making sure money is flowing into our communities. We can do that by avoiding reckless cuts to services, infrastructure, and jobs that we all depend on;
2. Pull together, as we have done in the past, to make sure that no matter what we look like or where we come from everyone has an opportunity to thrive;
3. Balance our upside-down tax code – which requires low- and middle-income Washingtonians to pay up to a 7 times higher percentage than the wealthy do in taxes – by asking the wealthiest few to pay more in taxes. When individuals and businesses that are seeing record profits contribute more, everyone benefits.

Washington's Legislators must make the right choice: NO on hurting people, families, and the economy with more cuts: and YES on taxing on those at the top to fund essential services, keep people working, and boost our economy.
