We urge Seattle City Councilwoman, Kshama Sawant, to announce her Independent run for the soon empty congressional seat vacated by US Congress House of Representatives WA state Congressman Jim McDermott. We desperately need the bold, courageous, progressive voice of Kshama Sawant in our US Congress House of Representatives, to fight corporate GOP and neoliberal Democrats, as a friend, fellow democratic socialist colleague of Bernie Sanders, in order to push future President Bernie Sanders' progressive, bold agenda through Congress into law. We would also recommend Kshama to chair the Congressional Progressive Caucus that Bernie helped found decades ago. Run, Kshama, run! We urge you to consider running for this important position.
