Many students at El Diamanté would like to participate in a boys volleyball team, but there isn’t one. One of the the school’s main goals is to have as many students as possible participate in activities and this could be a fun opportunity. Starting a volleyball team for the boys could be a fun and exciting experience for many of us and it would bring students closer to each-other as friendships would be created through teamwork, competition, and communication. This could possibly become a passion for some and help with personal issues such as raising one’s self confidence, a way to let out feelings that have been held in, and maybe even mental health issues. The girls volleyball team has been a successful sport for a very long time and we believe this could work out. For now we would just see who’s interested.
