On march 7th at Rancho buena vista high school, we were put on lockdown due to suspicion of a firearm on campus. The announcement told  students to report to the RBV stadium where they would arrive scared not knowing what exactly was happening then to find no teachers or staff on the field. Groups of students were jumping the fences to try and get to safety not knowing what could happen next. there has been no further action and nobody is being held accountable for what happened on that field. As RBV students, WE are scared to go to school, scared that what if the same thing we’re to happen would we be okay? that’s why i’m creating this petition, so vista unified school district should take action on the principal and administration of rbv. ESPECIALLY the person who made that announcement that could have cost students lives.
