This petition is to showcase that there is a demand for fibre internet coverage in Eldorado Park, Eldorado Estates (Bushkoppies) and neighbouring areas. 

In order for fibre to be installed in this area, there needs to be evidence that a demand for this service in these areas actually exists, in the form of a petition. 

In 2016, if not earlier, Fibre was introduced to South Africans. It is now 2020, FOUR years later, and still there hasn’t even been mention of when Eldorado Park/Eldorado Estates are expected to have fibre installed. 

On top of this, cable theft has left us with no other option besides LTE coverage.
This solution is anything but. The internet speeds are extremely slow, the connection horrendously weak or sometimes not even present and the plans provided are pathetically limited. There isn’t even an uncapped option because unfortunately, that’s not how it works. 

It can’t go on like this.

We need to make it clear that there is a large demand for fibre within our community. We can’t be treated like second-class citizens in our own country, especially not when it comes to the provision of basic services, including water, electricity, security and internet. 

Please sign and share the petition as far and wide as you can, even if you don’t live in this area. Tomorrow it can be you that needs to amplify your unheard voices.
