Within the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets, we occasionally send one exemplary cadet that embodies the values this organization has withheld for many generations. Currently, a member of Hotel Company, Jonathan Wangler, has been denied to attend the Georgia Tech vs. Virginia Tech football game. This is not because his performance within the Corps of Cadets has been unworthy of representing this organization, but rather bias. Hotel has been the best performing Company this year, which allowed them to send another cadet representing the Corps of Cadets during the Virginia Tech vs. Miami game. Jonathan Wangler is being discriminated from this opportunity to travel due to the this organization wanting to give everyone a chance. His contagious positive attitude, contributions to the company as a squad leader, member of IG staff, and many other accolades prove him to be the best representative for the upcoming football game. It would definitely be a loss for the Corps of Cadets to miss this opportunity to have a dignified leader of this organization to represent us at Georgia Tech.
