Mike Germino has been an invaluable member of the Voyager faculty from the beginning of the school in 2007. For reasons unknown, the board has decided not to renew Mike's contract as teacher and athletic director of the high school. We feel this is unfair to our students, our athletes and to Mike who has worked tirelessly and passionately to make sure our athletic program is one of the best.

Mike's commitment and passion to the school's athletic program, as well as the students, athletes and families should be appreciated and commended. We are beyond blessed to have someone like him who genuinely cares about our school and our students. Mike has changed and shaped the lives of many of our children by offering support, advice, direction and an open door. He has a personal interest in everyone he knows here and these kids love and respect him. HE will be the teacher and coach that they remember long after their school years. HE has made an impact.

We ask that you please reconsider your decision and listen to what the students and families at Voyager want and need for our children. Ultimately, this is what is most important.
