Here's what's happening: Robbie Katter wants to stop endorsed midwives and nurses from being able to prescribe an at-home abortion medication known as MS2-Step. This drug provides women with a safe, private, and dignified way to manage their reproductive health. Banning its prescription is not just a medical issue but an infringement on a woman's right to choose.

I suspect what they're trying to argue is that MS2-Step is too costly for taxpayers or that MSI Australia, a major reproductive healthcare organisation, profits excessively from it. But let’s put those claims into perspective. Access to safe abortion isn't just a cost, it's a fundamental human right. It’s a necessity.

MS2-Step is a widely prescribed medication that ensures women have control over their reproductive health.
