Yesterday, the anti-adult vaping forces introduced the PMTA FDA Registry Banning Vaping bill in the Colorado State Legislature. The bill is similar to the legislation that has been introduced in nearly 40 other State Legislatures across the nation. 

Thankfully, the PMTA FDA Registry Banning bill was defeated in most other state legislatures and we will defeat this ill-conceived and anti-adult consumer bill in Colorado. 

You have heard the phrase “politics creates strange bedfellows”. 

The PMTA FDA banning bill takes this phrase to new heights.

Consider these important facts. 

The PMTA FDA Prohibition bill was created by the right-wing political organization – ALEC (American Legislative Exchange Council) because Big Tobacco partially funds ALEC. 

The healthcare organizations, which are funded by anti-vaping crusader and Democratic billionaire, Michael Bloomberg, have joined forces with Big Tobacco in some of the states where the PMTA FDA Registry Banning bill was introduced.

Together, these anti-small responsible vape store and anti-adult cessation forces, are attempting to “Walmart-ize” the vaping industry, which will only hurt tens of thousands of Responsible Colorado Small Vape store owners, employees, and customers – many of which are from communities of color. 

We all know that the FDA PMTA process is broken, bureaucratic, and tied up in countless legal battles. The FDA has no capacity and no credibility regarding regulating vaping products for these and countless other reasons, including ever-changing goals and targets.
