Vodafone: Restore Communications with Hutchison Port Workers!

Vodafone: Restore Communications with Hutchison Port Workers!
The issue
It’s never a good sign when you get a text at 11:30 PM. Usually it’s a sign of a crisis - be it family, friend or a lover. But what if that SMS told you that you were sacked - effective immediately?
That’s what happened to 97 port workers. These hardworking individuals were working for a company that controls Vodafone Australia. Through SMS and email, the company dumped their Australian Port workers and hired guards to block the gates.
These workers want to get back to their jobs on the waterfront and find a long-term solution that benefits both the company and its workers.
This isn’t a case of good technology gone bad - this is a multinational company purposely dropping its connection with workers by refusing to talk.
If Vodafone really has all of us covered, it will act to help fix this situation.
Tell Vodafone that being terminated via SMS is unacceptable, and they must help restore communications at the Sydney and Brisbane Ports.
