Many cancelled Shonen Jump manga fail to get a physical English edition in the west at a reasonable time or at all. The manga Time Paradox Ghostwriter, by Kenji Ichima and Tsunehiro Date was well received in America. Phantom Seer, by Togo Goto and Kento Matsuura, amassed a small following as well. Many people subscribed to the Shonen Jump app were very disappointed with their early cancellation. Multiple cancelled series in the vault seem to only have digital versions within the app, as well as e book versions for Kindle available for purchase. The fans of Phantom Seer and TPGW who signed this petition would like a physical English edition of both series. Purchasing them would not only allow us to add to our collection of top notch manga, but also allow us to support the mangaka through royalties. The life of a mangaka can be difficult, and it’s not very fair to them if their overseas fans cannot support them through the purchase of a physical volume. I understand if there is no room for profit and this is an unreasonable request. As anime and manga fans we generally don’t really understand what happens in the distributing side of things. This petition is not meant to criticize or attack. It is solely to express a desire of consumers.
