VISN -10 Brownsburg, IN CBOC VA Pharmacy Scheduled to close July 25, 2025

The Issue

Our local Veterans Affairs (VA) Pharmacy in Brownsburg, IN serves as a lifeline to over 10,000 veterans annually, providing them with their necessary prescription medications. The proposed closure of this vital establishment threatens to disrupt the lives of thousands who have devoted their lives to protect our freedom and sovereignty.

This proposed action is not merely a logistical issue; it's a matter of wellbeing and quality of life for our veterans from all branches of service. It bears the risk of causing avoidable medical complications due to disrupted or delayed medication schedules. The closure confounds the already complex plight faced by the veterans, forcing them to seek medical aid from distant locations.

Indiana is home to over 400,000 veterans and the VA pharmacy in Brownsburg plays a crucial role in maintaining the health and welfare of this community. The closure undermines the commitment shown by these brave individuals while serving our nation and the promise of the VA to care for, serve, and honor America's veterans.

In the spirit of justice, respect, and acknowledgment of the sacrifices made by our veterans, we ardently plea to the relevant authorities and advocates of veteran affairs to halt the proposed closure of the Brownsburg VA Pharmacy. Let us ensure that our veterans continue to receive the care they deserve.

We urge you to support this cause. Your signature can influence the future of thousands of veterans and serve as a testament of your gratitude for their service. Stand with us as we fight to keep the VA pharmacy doors open. This VA Pharmacy is scheduled to close on July 25, 2025.  It was reported by the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center Chief of Pharmacy to a local news agency there are an average of 40 scripts filled daily.  This number is suspected to be much higher due to the high volume of patients seen by practitioners at the various clinics daily. Please help us save a vital service for our veterans as providing a one stop place for veterans to see their primary care, mental health provider or specialty doctor and get the required meds at the same time so there is no delay in care and quality of life for these veterans.  Sign this petition today to help stop the closing of this pharmacy who has the space and staff already on site to provide the care for the veterans.
