On December 16th,2018 I was in a bad car wreck the driver lost control of the car due to hitting standing water in the road (Virginia state police stated VDOT had been contacted that morning about standing water due to a uncleaned water drain the officer stated that the VDOT employee failed to clear the ditch also did not place a sign for high water) I was a passenger as well as my 2 year old daughter, when the driver lost control of her car it flipped over the bank landing upside down in the creek, my daughter and I got trapped inside the vehicle under water I was able to get out with the help of bystanders no one could get to my daughter in time it led to her drowning she was trapped in a 5 point harness car seat upside down, I truly believe if there had been a guardrail there it would of lowered the impact of the vehicle going over the bank into the water, I had a family friend contact VDOT for me they told her they wasnt putting up a guardrail and they put up reflector poles, this is not the first wreck that happened in this location (251 collierstown rd va) I am asking everyone to sign this petition in hopes that they will put a guardrail up to save the next life and to have justice for my daughter Jocelyn Olivia Stanley
