We, the citizens of Virginia Beach and the greater Hampton Roads Area, support the construction of an 18,000+ seat arena at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. The construction of such an arena and the subsequent placement of a professional sports franchise in Virginia Beach will create jobs, boost the local economy, create a greater standard of living and increase the prestige of the area which will in turn make Virginia Beach a better place to live and do business.
