Petition for Urgent Apartment Repairs, Maintenance and a better understanding of our electrical grid.

We, the undersigned tenants of “The Virage”, are deeply concerned about the ongoing maintenance issues and unsanitary living conditions at The Virage Apartment Complex, Managed by Greystar. Located at 100 Detering St. Houston, Texas 77007. We kindly request the Virage management team's immediate attention and implementation of the following proposals to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents.

We hereby petition for the following repairs to be urgently and immediately addressed. This Petition will be filed in the courts of Harris County, 334 District @ 201 Caroline St. 14th floor, Houston, Texas 77002. Reports will be filed with Houston Health Department, 8000 N. Stadium Dr., Houston, TX 77054

1. Large amounts of trash in and around our facility and our loading dock. Large amounts of human trash, glass, dumpsters never cleaned or put away as well as large furniture outside loading dock on a daily basis.
2. Trash chutes/closets on each floor never clean, smell, large amounts of trash left in trash closet. Not cleaned or emptied regularly.
3. Internal and External Building Repairs: outdoor building lighting, external and internal common area doors, exterior doors that are broken, Walk thru, outdoor common area fence down. Alarm at door constantly going off through the evening after management leaves.
4. Immediate attention to Live and Dead rodents in the hallways, rodents in and throughout the parking garage and loading dock.
5. Lack of operating cameras at garage entrance and surrounding internal and external of property.
6. Unclean elevators throughout.
7. Non-working amenities that we pay for. Outside grills upper deck. All 3 fireplaces, etc..
8. Lack of continued support during weather crisis, electrical grid, no backup power for emergencies, lack of business continuity plan for complex and tenants, accountability to improving power reliability.
9. Mold in and around apartments, ceilings falling in, mold on walls.
10. Repairs take far too long, lack of follow up and or information regarding our repairs, and no reasonable timeline for repairs that are affecting our living conditions.

Despite repeated requests for clean-up in and around the property, repairs that have not been addressed and complete complacency on behalf of management and staff, we stand together and agree that essential repairs, cleanliness, health related issues and our immediate concerns have not been addressed by management in a timely and prompt manner, jeopardizing our safety and comfort.
