This petition has been created to allow the residents of the Village of Cleves to show their support for keeping the Cleves Police Department.  There have been recent attempts to disband the Cleves Police Department and enter a contract with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office and Miami Township for police services.

Entering the proposed contract will decrease services to all communities involved (Village of Cleves, Village of North Bend, Miami Township, Three Rivers Local School District) and take away many of the benefits of having our own local law enforcement agency, including a Community Oriented Focus and a gold standard School Safety Program.
