REOPEN ERJOK MANYIEL NAI’s CASE
REOPEN ERJOK MANYIEL NAI’s CASE
The issue
Erjok Manyiel Nai was a 21 year old Sudanese Australian, last seen being detained by police officers due to public transport fare evasion. His body was then found severely beaten inside a law firm in the center of Melbourne (Russell Kennedy Building, 469 La Trobe st). His death was ruled a suicide despite the lack of evidence and the doubt of his family and community.
His family deserves justice and closure. Sign the petition to tell Victoria Police that we demand justice for Erjok, and for all marginalized people neglected and abused by the police and legal system.
