Dear Supporters, Thank you all for signing and sharing this petition. We have just broke 500 signatures in just under 2 days which is fantastic, so lets keep it going. Often people ask us if there is really any problem with the horse carriages and of course there are the pro-carriage supporters who believe there is nothing wrong with using horses as a tourist attraction. Unfortunately, the reality is that there are real problems with the horse carriages in Victoria even when their is not a collision to talk about. Inhumane care, safety issues, irresponsible operation of the horse carriages, and more all contribute to this being an industry that Victoria needs gone from its streets.
