The Issue
There is an update but I need to cool down first This petition stems from a deeply personal and distressing experience with Aspen Dental. The petitioner, a grieving mother who lost her only child, invested $15,000 of her savings into dental treatment only to be met with gross negligence and unprofessionalism. She discovered that the dentist should have implanted mini implants for her Snap in but failed to do so. When confronted about this error, the dentist abandoned the treatment instead of rectifying it. The petitioner's requests for her medical records and refund were ignored for over three months. It is unacceptable that a patient seeking help during an emotionally vulnerable period was treated with such disregard and insensitivity. The notes in her chart read "patient very unhappy her son died and wants teeth now!!" This level of callousness is not what one expects from healthcare professionals. Aspen Dental's customer service has been rated as one of the worst by numerous patients (ConsumerAffairs). Such behavior not only tarnishes their reputation but also undermines trust in dental healthcare providers. We demand accountability from Aspen Dental for their unprofessional practices and lack of empathy towards patients. We urge them to review their customer service policies, ensure transparency in treatments provided, respect patient rights including access to medical records promptly when requested, provide refunds where due without unnecessary delays or obstructions. No person should have to endure such an ordeal while seeking medical care especially during times of personal grief or financial hardship. Let us stand together against such unethical practices in healthcare services!
