Give "Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story" a theatrical release

The Issue

Right now, VH1 is doing post-production for their biopic of iconic 90's hip-hop/R&B trio TLC, called "Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story." Keke Palmer will portray Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, Drew Sidora will portray Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, and Lil' Mama will portray Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes. With such a star cast, one would believe it could stack a sizeable amount at the box office. The only problem is, VH1 is going to make this a straight-to-TV movie, with no plans for a theatrical release.

I know many music fans like myself see the influence TLC has on the music world, and we want to see that biopic on the BIG SCREEN, with the dark atmosphere, seats, popcorn and soda-we want the MOVIE EXPERIENCE while seeing this. Whether it's a wide release like "Notorious" or a limited one like A Tribe Called Quest's "Beats, Rhymes & Life," Viacom really needs to give this movie a chance in theatres; release it under the Paramount/Insurge/MTV Films banner.

No, we're not crazy (ok, maybe we are-but we're crazy for them); we want to pay and have the FULL MOVIE EXPERIENCE for this. PLEASE don't chase these TV waterfalls; stick to the theatrical rivers & lakes you're used to.
