I’m writing this, on behalf of all students, visitors who are struggling to get appointments for biometrics in India. As a part of application requirement, they have to get their biometrics done. In order to do that, they have to create an account and book appointment on VFS india website. However, they are not able to get any appointments because all slots are already taken. Then their agents offers them that there are some slots that are  available in market and are being sold by some people but they have to pay a lots of money.  People who cannot afford to pay that hefty amount are stuck in this situation.

Biometrics appointment should only be booked after getting the biometric instruction letter with a specific application number. So that everyone gets a fair chance to book an appointment. In Canada, one cannot book appointment without biometric instruction letter and get to book only one appointment. But here in India any random person can create account and make bookings.

People are creating multiple accounts and booking multiple appointments and then selling those for money.

I’m requesting everyone to sign this so that VFS can change their booking system and these fraud activities can be stopped.
