As a three time combat veteran I have engaged the VA for the last 30 years in some capacity or other. I do not believe in disability as my income is sufficient but I DO belief in defending those that need it.

As a contractor at the VA Financial Services Center (I am a technical architect) I experienced a culture of delusion - which led to my leaving to go back to making real money instead of performing for charity.  One developer was literally 12 years behind current technology but was kept because "Martin Wilbanks likes him". Martin Wilbanks is the IT Chief, and Wallace French is the Director of the FSC.  Under their watch, they have allowed fraud to proliferate both in contracts and civilian service, such as granting contracts to Halfaker and Associates (the directors of which are large supporters of the Democratic party) and others due to sheer negligence of due diligence. In one specific case all the technology was placed on a single machine and there was no functional software, however they represented it as "complete" - these are health care claims they should be processing.  I reported this as fraud and experienced the backlash of the Director as a result.  It was clear he has a personal stake in this, and I ask this be investigated.

If you wonder why the VA can't handle your appeal or you experience delays, the FSC is why.  They are, effectively, the "bank" of the VA and they are nothing short of a club of civilians out to insure long-term job security by doing the minimum and playing the liberal politics of the facility.  This is unacceptable.  We demand a veteran be in charge of the FSC IT and Director roles in order to restore the integrity of the Administration.
