Help us save the Ventura Village Carousel in the Ventura Harbor!

The business has been here serving Ventura Harbor and surrounding areas since the mid 1980s. In 2001 my family and I took ownership and are proud to continue that tradition. We are a small family run business consisting of a video game arcade, snack bar with homemade fudge and chocolates and an authentic 1970s carousel. We’ve been in good standing with the Ventura Port District every month for the last 18 years and now find ourselves in the position of not being able to get a new lease for our business. We have been on a month to month agreement for over 5 years with no discussion of anything long term.

About 4 years ago, my father passed away unexpectedly and I ended up taking over the business because I couldn’t stand to see it go. It has since been my mission to make this business a fun place for families to play and enjoy all that the Ventura Harbor has to offer. But now I need your help! The signatures we’re collecting are to show the Ventura Port District that we are a valuable asset to the harbor and to hopefully convince them to give us a chance to discuss a long term lease. We can’t improve our business with the uncertainty of not knowing how long we’ll be able to stay here.
