On May 18th, 2020, the 24-time UCA Division IA Coed cheerleading champions the University of Kentucky was caught in a hazing scandal that resulted in the dismissal of their coaching staff, including long time head coach Jomo Thompson and advisor T. Lynn Williamson.
The investigation began back in February where a cheerleader's mother claimed that several cheerleaders were encouraged to go topless and bottomless at the Lake Cumberland retreat as well as singing a lewd chant at the UCA/UDA College Camp at East Tennessee State University.
As a form of punishment, please ban the University of Kentucky cheerleading squad from next year's competitions, including the 2021 UCA College Cheerleading Championship and the 2021 Cheersport Nationals. That way, the ban will hope to teach the UK cheerleaders a lesson in life.
Update: BTW, I really want the University of Kentucky to compete at next year's UCA Nationals but I believe that UCA has a rule regarding teams that have made big mistakes but I could be mistaken.
