This is our final year of high school at Vanguard (Montreal, Canada) and our last couple of months left have been stripped away from us, we would be exited if we could have one full day of school to just have fun and say our last goodbyes to our teacher and fellow students/friends. It’s not much but it’s something all graduates would be happy to have, a final last day. It’s a huge disappointment to us grade 11s that went through 5 years of high school working hard even through our difficulties like ADHD, ADD and dyslexia. To have a fun last couple of months gone in an instant makes us heart broken. I don’t know how many signatures we need for this to happen but the more the merrier! It’s no one‘s fault that this happened besides the virus of course. No one knows when we could go back to a normal life but even if that’s in a year from now we would still be very pleased with one final day. It’s not often that you could relive your high school memories but if we get this, this will be our final memory of high school. We will remember it as not just some random day of the week without knowing that we will never see each other again but a last day of celebrating, having fun and heartwarming. If anybody is wondering my name is Andrew F. This was never the schools intent to shut down the schools, but if it’s possible if we could have one final day of high school that would mean the world to me and all of the fellow grade 11s.
