Derek Mason's record at Vanderbilt is 27-55 for a winning percentage of 329 and dropping. Year after year Vanderbilt gets worse. No one should expect Vanderbilt to compete with the big dogs in the SEC, but Vanderbilt can't even compete with the big dogs in the MAC. The Vanderbilt Athletic department should do the right thing and let Derek Mason retire to a life of PeeWee football coaching.
