There is a mutual agreement between the students of UTwente that academic skills has not provided much useful information so far into the year. Many saying it is a waste of their time, personally, this time could be much better spent on the mountains of useful homework we also get. Even some TAs admitted that it is useless, but it is mandatory so 'just do it'. 

One of the worst situations is failing a module in uni, because you have to redo it the next year. Maths? Understandable. Imagine resitting a module because of academic skills, that is some next level bs. What did you essentially miss in that class? One diversity workshop where you find and brainstorm information totally unrelated to the study you're doing and studying in UTwente. Or the feedback workshop you didn't do, where you give feedback to your partners based on a table with predefined compliments and not a single negative word. So much for constructive feedback...

For this, I have started a petition for uTwente to shed some light on this common complaint so teachers can see how many people have an issue with academic skills. Please sign and share this petition if you feel the same way.
