According to the year back rule issued by Uttarakhand Technical University, any student who has more than 4 backs by the end of an academic year will have to repeat that particular year.

Due to this year back rule, students will have to repeat their studies and at the same time will also lose a very vital year of their life irrespective of the reason/cause for not being able to appear in those exams or not being able to score well in a particular exam.

Reasons for not being able to score well or not being able to attend a particular exam may be many - family problems, Illness or medicals reasons. 
Hence, University should provide some relaxation on this rule. Either this rule should be abolished or the limitation on minimum number of backs should be increased.

At the same time  Uttarakhand Technical University has decided to , not to conduct special back exams .It is a request from all the students,that  Special back exams should be conducted soon , so that students can clear their backs and get their academics on track.

Its a request to Vice chancellor of  Uttarakhand Technical University and Chief Minister of State to look into this matter and take some fruitful decisions so that a huge number of students can be benifited and get a chance to save their future. The future of youth is at stake.
