This year UTSA Athletics has decided to refocus the UTSA cheerleading team and is not allowing them to compete. This team has been competing for over 10 years and holds a national title. They have received second place the last two years and have been striving for another national title. They are taking away the competitive aspect of this cheerleading program, which is why many of the student athletes chose the program at UTSA.
