The San Justo Reservoir, an integral part of our Hollister community, has remained closed for far too long. The state of California recently received a grant from the Division of Boating and Waterways, an opportunity we must seize. Our reservoir is not just a body of water, it is a place where families spend quality time, anglers cast their lines, and boaters explore unique landscapes.

Being closed, it has stripped away these recreational activities, thereby affecting our community's mental physical and financial well-being. Opening the San Justo Reservoir using the grant will not only restore its value as a recreational center but also keep our local economy robust by attracting tourism. Its a win win.
