I recently just read an article stating that Utah senate failed to pass the bill SB 197 to ban gas chambers which are used in the state when its shelters tragically kill unwanted animals. The bill have changed the ways shelters and would have outlawed the inhumane way these animals are being euthanized. After reading how these chambers work I was disgusted. These animals are placed in the chamber where the choke and vomit... Trying to find any way to escape...to find out the also may have to repeat this process again. The senate did not pass this bill and stated it would be sent to the committee for "study" for one year. Utah lawmakers had a chance end this agony for these animals but choose not. Now these animals face the agony of dead through this inhumane way of death for another year. I'm truly disturbed that this extremely inhumane process even exists in this day in age and needs to be stop
