The Blasphemy Merchandise
Several TikTok merchandise requests prompted this post! Thank you for asking.
I owe much gratitude to the TikTok creator crucial for creating the merchandise to support the reunion with my son. The proceeds from this project provide the funds for communication, personal supplies, and relocation.
Without your support through the merchandise purchase, there is no way I could afford to buy the data my son needs to call the US. Most apps are free to use in the US, but that is not the case in some parts of the world. Being on Facebook, Whatsapp, or Tiktok for a cheaper way to communicate is a luxury for my son, and I could not afford it if it were for your support. None of the social media communications can replace face-to-face communications, but they make a difference. My son and I are grateful to you.
Birthdays and holidays are times when families gather for separation. This time, the separation trauma resurfaces the most for me because there is always that empty chair where my son could be sitting. In my family, we don't typically exchange money for gifts. We buy a valuable item for a family member; this tradition has been how we bonded. Sending gifts overseas to my son is expensive, and it doesn't make economic sense to ship a box abroad when sending money is more accessible. Please let me know if you would like to help me send a box overseas to me! I would appreciate that.
Thank you for restoring my hope in humanity. Through my protest against the injustice done to my son and me, I have realized that losing membership in a church does not equal the erasure of humanity. So many people have been good to my son and me. To you, I shall remain forever indebted.! Thank you!
