Depending on your location, Chris is either on the far right or left of the picture. Next to him is Paul, my adoptive son. He was my sister's only child, joining us in the US when she passed away. Christina, a model, and a singer are between us. 

The First Thing Chris Will Say If You Ask Him About His Deportation

He will probably laugh. Why? I think that's because he thinks unfairness is dumb or weird. I could be wrong. Ask him.

Food - I once missed his call on messenger and told him I was at McDonald's. "What going on at McDonald's," he asked, giggling. "Food's not that great." So, I told him I was there for coffee. He is particular about what he eats and worries about certain food brands.

Accounting - He studied Accounting at Weber State University and was in good standing but had to leave school when a university "glitch ruined my immigration status." When we were fleeing the military approaching our compound years ago, he carried the briefcase with the cash and the telephone/fax apparatus.

On the 18th of May 2005, Ed Jenson, Ogden High School principal, awarded Chris a Certificate of Achievement for his outstanding performance in school. They issued him a Kapple/Johnson Ogden High School-Weber State University Business Scholarship

Modeling - Chris was a model at Rusty Healy Photography in Ogden, Utah. I have to come back to develop this section later.

Memorable Family Times - He accompanied his sister, Christina, to almost all her singing events. He and Paul used to dance all the time when they first came to the US. That's how most of their classmates remembered them at Ogden High School. I remember watching him and Paul competing with others in athletics. Chris is a sprinter, and Paul is a marathoner. 

The four of us met for every birthday and family gathering, including their grandpa's funeral in Idaho. Whenever we gather as a family, there is always a reminder that Chris is not here.
