The costs that college students are having to pay have been increasing throughout the years and will most likely continue to increase. For many, these costs are unbelievably high and many are unable to pay, moreover, students are having to depend on loans. Tuition, housing, meal plans, groceries are some of the expenses a college student is having to pay and on top of that having to pay for parking permits. These costs just continue to increase student debt, which is why many rather not seek for higher education or end up dropping out. 

Moreover, by removing the fee in student parking permits it will decrease some of the costs a college student is having to pay.
