Texas RHO, formally known as UT SAE, is an independent fraternity at the University of Texas. In March of 2018, the chapter's registered student organization status was revoked due to an investigation that revealed dangerous hazing. The investigation found that UT SAE pledges were forced to ingest alcohol and other concoctions and then were place in a hole underneath the house. Although the chapter was suspended, Texas RHO is still fully operating on the UT campus and recruiting new members each year.

Since their suspension, Texas RHO has continued to display poor and threatening behavior on the UT campus. They have been hosting large parties, including a football tailgate with 100+ people despite the City of Austin social distancing protocols. At one of their parties last week, two girls were raped by two members of Texas RHO. This has not been the first time where members of the fraternity have been involved in sexual assault. Students at the University do NOT feel safe with the presence of this organization on campus. 

Texas RHO is dangerous and the City of Austin as well as the University of Texas have encouraged their behavior by letting them get away with their actions. Their behavior needs to be addressed. Texas RHO needs to be held responsible. Sign this petition if you think something needs to be done.
