Students pay almost $1000 for parking permits in campus garages and we still have to move our cars to another garage and back every time there is a sporting event. After moving the cars, most of the time the garages are almost empty. If we pay such a steep price for a parking spot, we should not have to continuously worry about moving them to avoid getting fined/towed.
