It is a known fact that TAMU and UT have had a rivalry with each other since 1915. Yet, since 2011, every football season has been missing an important part of their season; the TAMU and UT game where fans would fill the stands and enthusiastically support their teams. Due to the change of seasons that has come upon 2020, it would only be fitting that we would bring back such an important part of each of the schools history. Not only would this be an opportunity to unite old traditions, but this would bring the opportunity to both schools involved and bring joy to their fans and loyal followers during such an unpredictable year. With this football game, not only would it be bringing back tradition that the schools have been built upon, this could become a charitable event to help a specific cause both schools agree upon. Therefore, bringing both schools who fight with each other and challenge each other to rivalry, to be a consolidation together. This football game wouldn't just be a game of remembering old traditions but also bringing harmony to both teams in order to help a good cause. Overall, the game would be a collaboration and a success for all, no matter who wins or loses.
